JLB's house on Box Hill, Surrey804 viewsJohn Logie Baird lived in this Arts and Crafts house in Box Hill Surrey from 1929 to January 1932. He was to return to England's south coast in 1944, setting up home in Swiss Cottage, Bexhill. He lived there until his death two years later after suffering a stroke. The Station Road home was demolished in 2007 and the site now houses a development of apartments, named Baird Court.
