Portrait mystery
Sir James Guthrie (1859-1930), who lived much of his life at Rhu and Helensburgh and was the leader of the now famous Glasgow Boys, painted this portrait of a young girl. Art collector Jim Smith from Blantyre owns the 24 x 18s ins charcoal and crayon drawing, and would love to know who the young lady subject was.
